CALL FOR ARTISTS
A River Town: Views of Northfield Showing August 8th - 31st
This exhibition is open to everyone, artwork in all mediums welcome. You do not need to live in Northfield to enter. All artwork will be accepted that meets the requirements. Work doesn't have to be for sale. Judging for the contest will include public participation. Viewers attending the show will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite artwork at the opening.
Entry forms will be accepted from now until August 3rd.
Artwork may be dropped off from August 1st till August 3rd only. We are not accepting work before these dates. All work must arrive at the Gallery clearly labeled and ready to hang.
There will be cash prizes!!
Categories include:
REALISM- Northfield, a town united east and west by the Connecticut River, old and new; views of the past or scenes of how it looks today.
IMAGINATIVE- With emphasis on scenic river views, show the interaction between people and their surroundings; use your talent and imagination to show Northfield as it could be.

Adults-
Teens- ages 13-18
Children- 12 and under

Fourth Annual Northfield Summer Arts Fest
Saturday, September 20, 2008, 10a.m. - 4p.m.
Festival times and deadline for Artist/Artisan Application TBA/confirmed.
The Northfield Arts group is excited to host our fourth annual one-day Summer Arts Fest on Saturday, September 20, 2008. The festival will be held outdoors on the grounds of Green Trees Gallery at 105 Main Street in beautiful historic Northfield, Massachusetts.
With booths filled with exciting, creative art, food booths staffed by local service organizations (i.e., Churches and Kiwanis), local bands performing throughout the day, and creative children's activities, the Fest should prove to be a rip-roaring time! The venue has plenty of parking and is easy to get to. To thank our visiting artists there will be free coffee & light snacks available until 10 a.m.
